Cape Woolamai Mercantile is once again participating in this event, bring a touch of luxury to your life and leisure.  Come visit us!  Among other wonderful products, we will be featuring ICE-FREE Coolers and Koozies.  

Started in 1934 by Marion Dupont Scott it was the only time the Montpelier estate was open to the public.  Now the Races are a fund raiser for James Madison’s Montpelier, a National Trust Historic Property.  Seven exciting steeplechase horse races as well as lots of other fun family activities fill up the whole day.  Always the first Saturday in November, many make it a tradition and a homecoming. It only comes once a year, don’t miss it!
