What is a “Jumbuck?” and “What is a Tucker Bag?” … In the most famous bush ballad — Waltzing Matilda the lyric “And he sang as he shoved that jumbuck in his tucker bag” just begs questions.

A Jumbuck is a Sheep, and Tucker is Aussie slang for food. So, the Swagman (Hobo) stuffed a sheep into his food bag.

Didgeridoonas did not stuff a Sheep into the Tucker Bag, but they did stuff pure Australian sheep's wool into the sides of the bag to keep your hot items hot, or cold items cold. • 2012: Southpaw Express began growing the business by selling these amazing Aussie products in Pop-Up Stores at Local and Regional Events.
• 2016: David graduated from college, and our pop-up shoppes graduated to a new name Cape Woolamai Mercantile Co.
• 2017: The Coolamon® Collection of premium+ ice-free coolers was launched In response to the many requests received from our American Friends for versions of these awesome Australian products tailored to fit the unique characteristics of the American Lifestyle.
