Holiday Market is the largest fundraiser for the Junior League of Columbia. Each year, thousands of shoppers head to the South Carolina State Fairgrounds to find the perfect gifts from nearly 170 merchants and take part in our festive Preview Party, the always sold-out Ladies Night Out event and a chance to snap the perfect picture with Santa during Sundaes with Santa.

The four-day shopping event raised over $200,000 each year to support multiple missions and programs, which includes strengthening the health and well-being of children and families in the Midlands.

The Savannah Boat Show is located on Hutchinson Island, Georgia, overlooking the Savannah River and on the South Carolina border.  This show’s strength is its location, two hours north of Jacksonville, Florida, and two hours south of Charleston, South Carolina providing a natural magnet for attracting boating enthusiasts and exhibiting companies from all three states and beyond.  The show primarily showcases powerboats.  Savannah, like Charleston, is on the coast, which makes it a strong salt water fishing location.  Each year, fishing experts are on-hand for seminars and demonstrations.  The show also features boats overlooking the Savannah River and other maritime displays and exhibits.  In its history, the show has held shag contests, seafood festivals, live music and other family entertainment.  It’s one of the few winter boat shows in the country fortunate enough to have a water-front view.  Whether it’s sunny or inclement weather, there is something interesting for everyone at the Savannah Boat Show.

The Jacksonville In-Water Boat Show promises vessels big and small as well as fishing seminars and family-oriented fun Friday through Sunday at Metropolitan Park and Marina downtown.

The Duck Buck & Bass Sportsman's Expo is THE Outdoor Hunting Expo where you see, touch, and talk to the Experts! The Agricenter will be converted into a Hunters Paradise with experts and new products for the hunting industry.

The Stuart Boat Show is the largest boat show on Florida’s Treasure Coast featuring over 175 local, national and international exhibitors displaying hundreds of boats in-water and on land. Many boat brands are represented at the show, including the latest models of motor yachts, cruisers, center consoles, speedboats, sport fishing boats, and pontoons ranging in size from 12 feet to over 90 feet in length. Additional exhibits include the latest in personal watercraft, marine electronics, outboard and inboard engines, safety equipment, accessories, boat lifts, fishing gear, nautical clothing and jewelry, as well as financing and insurance companies.  Plenty of seminars, music, delicious food and drinks add to the festivities.

Largest Manatee Festival that features shopping, entertainment, boat tours and swimming with the manatees.     The Florida Manatee Festival returns January 18th and 19th, 2020. Come join the celebration in downtown Crystal River as we honor our most famous resident! Festival goers can board free bus tours to Three Sisters Springs to see manatees in their natural settings.

For a nominal charge, Manatee Boat Tours are available from the City Pier at the end of N.E. Third Street for a trip into Kings Bay and other favorite manatee hangouts on the water.

Back on land, the sound of music fills the air with live entertainment on three different stages, while visitors enjoy the offerings of fine arts and craft artisans. A beer & wine garden and two food courts serving up a wide menu of delights; from fresh seafood to authentic, local BBQ and everything in between. Plus, International Alley, featuring food trucks, food trailers and booths filled with epicurean delights from around the world.

The Port St. Lucie Seafood Festival is a 2-day family-friendly outdoor festival held on the grounds of the Mid-Florida Event Center from 11 am to 7 pm Saturday, January 29th and 11 am to 6 pm Sunday, January 30th 2022. 

Winter AutoFest takes place at the ultra-spacious SUN ‘n FUN Expo Campus in Lakeland, Florida. Between a dedicated Corvette Fun Field with Corvette vendors and Corvette themed seminars, an ALL-NEW Mopar-Only Fun Field with seminars, to the Imperial Mustang Club of Polk County, Mustangs and Mustangs Show, this is a full force automotive weekend! In addition, Carlisle Events gives you a Free Collector Car Cruise-In for those who just want to see what Winter AutoFest is all about. The Annual Thunder By the Bay Motorcycle Festival in Sarasota, FL continues to rev up a great time raising money for Suncoast Charities for Children.

The Florida Strawberry Festival is an 11-day community event celebrating the strawberry harvest of Eastern Hillsborough County. Each year, over 500,000 visitors enjoy the festival’s headline entertainment, youth livestock shows, rides, exhibits of commerce and, of course, its strawberry shortcake.

The epicenter of CMA Fest is Xfinity Fan Fair X with artist meet-and-greets, concerts, lifestyle exhibits, shopping, live broadcasts and more inside Music City Center. Continuing the tradition of the original Fan Fair – bringing fans and artists together like no other festival can. Xfinity Fan Fair X is home to three live music stages including the CMA Close Up Stage. In 2018, over 70,000 people attended Xfinity Fan Fair X during CMA Fest.

The Iola Car Show is one of America’s largest auto events. This will be Cape Woolamai's inaugural year!

The historic Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration Grounds in Shelbyville, TN is home to The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration®, which takes place each year in late summer for the 11 days ending on the Saturday night before Labor Day.

The Nappanee Apple Festival is located in Nappanee, Indiana (Elkhart County) and held annually on the third weekend in September. During the 3 1/2 day festival there are many attractions for all ages to enjoy. There is live entertainment on two stages, carnival rides, over 150 exhibitors and 20 different food vendors, and a huge parade with an airplane flyover on Saturday morning.

Other events include an apple peeling contest, 5K road run, apple pie eating and apple peeling contests, goldfish races, wings & wheels show (cars and airplanes, antique tractor and engine show, napple baking contest, kids & adult pedal pull contests, and a scholarship pageant. Of course you won’t want to miss the popular Napple Store with fresh baked apple dumplings, apple pie, apple butter, apple cider, apple fritter bread, apple turnovers, homemade applesauce and much more!

Smith Mountain Lake's Most Popular Event!

The Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival takes place the last weekend in September each year and regularly draws crowds of more than 11,000.

In addition to nearly 30 Virginia wineries, SML Wine Festival visitors can peruse the booths of dozens of quality artisans, as well as craft and food vendors.

Both days feature live music with plenty of room for dancing. In recent years, the festival has welcomed a limited number of craft breweries and distilleries, too.  

This will be Cape Woolamai Mercantile's first year at this wonderful event.  We are very excited to share our natural fiber wine coolers the festival attendees.  And new for 2019 is a fabulous, must have accessory for wine lovers and lake lovers...introducing "Glass on the Grass" and "Glass on the Boat"--the perfect accessory, non-spill wine coasters!

When you “Shop for a Cause”, you support the Junior League’s outreach to dynamic programs, as well as our mission-based training programs. We like to call Australia the 7th Celtic Nation, as the country was largely settled and explored by the Scottish & Celtic peoples. Started in 1934 by Marion Dupont Scott it was the only time the Montpelier estate was open to the public.  Now the Races are a fund raiser for James Madison’s Montpelier, a National Trust Historic Property.  Seven exciting steeplechase horse races as well as lots of other fun family activities fill up the whole day.  Always the first Saturday in November, many make it a tradition and a homecoming. It only comes once a year, don’t miss it!

Join us for Easton’s Homecoming! The 49th Annual Waterfowl Festival will take place November 8-10, 2019. This wildlife art show, sportsman’s expo and small-town festival celebrates all things “Eastern Shore” and showcases Easton in its autumn glory. Meet the country’s finest wildlife artists: painters, sculptors, carvers and photographers, and see their work in galleries spread across historic downtown Easton.

The Festival kicks off with Opening Ceremonies and the Premiere Night Party on Thursday, November 7 and then opens to general admission guests on Friday, November 8.

Perennial favorites will also return including the popular Dock Dogs® Competition at Easton Middle School, the Retriever Demonstrations at the Bay Street Ponds, World Championship Goose and Duck Calling Contests at Easton High School and the Sportsman’s Pavilion at the Easton Elks Lodge. The 33rd Annual Holiday Food & Gift Festival returns to Denver on November 15-17 at the National Western Complex.
This Festival is the largest holiday celebration in the West, drawing many shoppers annually who happily complete their holiday shopping early.

- Home of the Swamp Fox- Where Francis Marion brought British prisoners and staged attacks in 1780.

Graham's Historic Farm has been in the family since William Graham founded it in 1738. At the time of the Revolution, his grandson, Hugh Graham, who served under Francis Marion owned the farm with his father Nielson. British prisoners were brought to Hugh's farm after the battle of Tearcoat on their way to General Harrington in Cheraw.

Hugh's uncle, John Graham was a Captain in the 2nd South Carolina Regiment and in the SC militia under Major Francis Marion. Documents show Captain John Graham, Major Francis Marion, and Colonel William Moultrie marched from Georgetown district with the 2nd SC Regiment to build a fort out of sand and palmetto trees. This fort later became known as Fort Moultrie. The successful defense of Charleston in late June 1776 gave the founding fathers the courage to send out the Declaration of Independence on July 4th. Hugh's brothers William and Arthur Graham also served in the Continental Army.  Both died from injuries sustained in the war.

Original documents show that the farm actively supplied food for the Continental Army during the war, and was also used as a stop-over camp site for Patriot forces, including Francis Marion's brigade of partisans and captured British troops. Graham's farm played an important role in support of Patriot forces during the "dark days" of the southern campaign at significant risk to the family.

The farm remains with the Graham family today. All of the period buildings have been lost to time, but the farmland itself remains in active use, and the site is largely untouched by modern intrusions.

In the Spring, when the cherry blossom trees are blooming and Downtown Macon comes alive - the Middle Georgia Art Association proudly presents the OLDEST arts & crafts festival in Middle Georgia.  Thousands of visitors and hundreds of vendors from across the country congregate on Mulberry Street to celebrate this exciting festival!  

Mulberry Street Festival is family-friendly with free admission.

Celebrated on the first full weekend of October, the Riverfest runs through Historic Downtown Wilmington on Water Street from the foot of Market Street to Cape Fear Community College. Currently drawing tens of thousands of people, this free, family-oriented celebration is a two-day event and has grown to be a widely anticipated annual celebration.  Riverfest was created in February 1979, by a group of Wilmingtonians interested in showcasing downtown Wilmington and the Cape Fear River and has since resulted in a cultural street festival that entices locals and tourists alike to the amazing Historic Downtown.

Annual Mountain Moonshine Festival 4th Weekend in October

As the years past, the Mountain Moonshine Festival had grown to become one of the most well known activities in the North Georgia area. This event generates funds that support the children in the local community.

See the parade of moonshine and revenue cars to kick off festivities at 9:00 Saturday morning.

Held in November in the South Hall of the Von Braun Center, the three-day market attracts shoppers from throughout the region and contributes more than $100,000 toward Randolph's Tailored Tuition program. This program helps to attract quality students, support their families, and put the possibility of affording a Randolph education within reach. Its success is due to a hard-working group of volunteers.
